a road she sees, a path she'll take
where willows weep away, colors of days of old
how wisps of promises collected at her feet
don't leave these flakes of hope
drifting in the snow
they had her trying but complying in the fall
tear these leaves off broken branches
lift the strain off the aging forest below
could she have held on just this once
and watch the rising winter sun
and take chances at tomorrow?
oh, oh
oh you could never know
you could never know
a road she sees, a path she takes
where willows wept away, colors of days of old
how wisps of promises collected at her feet
don't leave these flakes of hope
drifting...

Noisia style neurofunk meets glitch hop, IDM, jazz, world, ambient, elevator music, and who knows what else. This amalgam of genres has no right to work, but KOAN Sound somehow pulled it off, creating perhaps one of the most innovative albums ever. Every song is fantastic, either being a banger, atmospheric, emotive, or all three at once. furrybeans

This isn't Noisia. This is Sleepnet. Yet it still managed to addict me and ruin my life again just after I came out of rehab for my Noisia addiction. Good job. I hope you're happy. furrybeans

A few criticisms: I wish there were some more vocal samples from the anime to ground the listener more in the world of Evangelion. I also wish that some of the tracks were longer to explore the drums and sound more, especially Katsuragi which starts off with a great intro but then seems to end abruptly and shortly into the groove. That aside I think this is a great album with wonderful sounds and drums. It’s a hard choice to pick one favorite. Instrumentality is a close tie with Chance! Love it! Dionysus Virus
